DESCRIPTION:
Gorgeous 1956 Buick Roadmaster Convertible powered by the original 322 cu in Buick ‘Nail Head’ V8 rated at 255 horsepower and backed by the matching Dynaflow automatic transmission. This car is being sold as part of an estate, so the exact history of the Buick is not completely known. It does appear that the restoration did include a color change to the red interior & exterior, with a white top.

Mileage since restoration is unknown but actual odometer reading of 98,300 is believed accurate according to the title.
It was purchased from a museum in 2006 and has since then undergone several upgrades as well as additional restoration. This classic is a pleasure to drive, draws attention wherever it goes and has won numerous awards.
Upgrades by owner:
Power brakes with discs on the front.
New front and rear suspension parts i.e. bushings and ball joints.
Upgraded stereo with 6-speakers, amplifier, and 6 disc CD changer.
Power antenna
Seat belts
Aftermarket water temperature gauge.
15” wire wheels
Auburn 235/75R/15 radial tires
Change to alternator
Dual exhaust
Electric fan
Vintage Air A/C & heat (A/C needs charging, does not blow cold air).
Electric fuel pump.
Condition:
The body & paint look great. It could be a 2-stage urethane with little to no bodywork evident. All the chrome is in good to excellent condition. The power tinted windows work as well as the top (see video). External lights function including turn signals and vacuum wipers.
The engine is stock and appears to have been rebuilt at some point. It starts easily and retains the original WCFB 4-barrel carburetor. Ignition has been changed over to Pertronics. The Dyna Flow 2-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Recently added dual exhaust. Gas tank was flushed and fuel lines redone.
Suspension is original but rebuilt with urethane bushings and new ball joints. New 15” wire wheels.
Interior is in very good to excellent condition with no evidence of broken seams or tears. Power seat functions as well as the factory gauges including the speedometer and odometer.
