DESCRIPTION:
1958 Cadillac Series 62 4 door hardtop powered by the original 365 cu. in. V8 rated at 310 horsepower and backed by the matching 4-speed hydramatic automatic transmission. Current owner has had the Caddie for approximately 30 years and bought it after the restoration, which included the exterior color and interior change. Total mileage is estimated at 95,000.

This Series 62 has been regularly maintained and garage kept. Receipts for recent work carried out on the car includes the fuel tank being flushed, lines replaced and a new fuel pump. Oil and filter changed, new generator, rebuilt carburetor, tune-up (points, condenser, cap, plugs, coil, and plug wires), and air filter. The brake system was serviced and some of the hardware and lines were replaced. All exterior lights including the turn signals, back up lights, and brake lights work. The Cadillac starts, drives, and runs great.
The exact date of the restoration is not known, but the exterior was repainted in an Arctic White pearl. The body appears solid with various small areas showing rust. Floor boards and trunk floor appear solid. The exterior chrome is in excellent condition. All windows appear in good condition too.
The interior was reupholstered in white vinyl with cloth inserts and shows little to no wear. The factory temperature and fuel gauge works as well as the odometer/speedometer. There are no power options such as seats or windows.
The suspension is stock with power steering and non-power drum brakes.
Items which need attention include the radio, clock, and the left passenger window does not go up and down. There is also some marks on the lower right rear quarter panel area, see photos.
