Body: All steel 1935 Chevy body which originated in AZ. Only the running boards are fiberglass. A Rootlieb aluminum 3-piece hood is also used. The paint is Bright Blue Irid lacquer and still looks very good for being almost 40 years old. The glass is in good condition with power windows on the passenger and driver’s doors. There is some ‘bubbling’ in some of the glass. Some of the custom features included front parking lights from a 1971/72 Ford Galaxie, power sunken antenna (does not work), filled roof, Dietz halogen headlights, 32 Ford front bumper mounted on the rear, ’34 Chevy LED taillights, and dual Valley sideview mirrors.

Engine & Transmission: The small block Chevy engine came from a ’78 Monte Carlo and was rebuilt approximately 40,000 miles ago to stock specifications with 9.8:1 compression ratio so it runs on pump gas. Ignition is an HEI unit along with a high torque starter. A Holley 650 cfm carburetor sits on a Weiand intake manifold. The radiator is a Walker unit with electric fans. The Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine and treated to a deep pan and shift kit.

Interior: Power bucket seats are from a 1984 Ford Tempo and compliment the velour and vinyl custom upholstery. Gauges are VDO Classic (Speedometer/odometer, oil pressure, water temperature, fuel, voltmeter), A/C & heat is by Airtique with 2 outlets in the dash. Please note the A/C works great, but the heater was never connected. Overhead console contains an AM/FM/Cassette player, and toggle switches for lights. There is an emergency brake handle and kill switch between the two front seats. This ’35 Chevy also has seatbelts.

Chassis: Stock 1935 Chevrolet frame which has been ‘boxed’. Mustang II independent rack & pinion front suspension with power disc brakes and coil over shocks. Rear differential is an 8″ Ford with a separate master cylinder and power drum brakes. Wheels are Western Appliance with 14″ front and 15″ rear. Tires are B.F. Goodrich 185/70R/14 and 225/70R/15.
