DESCRIPTION:
Here is a rare opportunity to own a unique and custom 4×4 Conversion van. This is a 1992 Ford E250 extended van with a U-joint Offroad 4×4 conversion kit. The work was professionally done and the van cruises easily at highway speeds without any vibration while the A/C blows cold air all day.

Power for the van comes from the original EFI (electronic fuel-injected) 5.8 L (351 cu. in.) Windsor V8 and AOD 4-speed automatic transmission which were rebuilt approximately 20,000 miles ago. Gas tank holds 35 gallons.
The suspension uses (2) Dana 60 differentials with 4.88 posi-traction gears and a 2-speed 4-wheel drive. The 4-wheel drive has manual hubs. There is also a 6” lift kit added with 35/12.50/17 Terra Hunter R/T tires. The brake system, shocks, and fuel system were rebuilt or replaced when the engine & transmission were rebuilt.
The interior is very basic with new ‘captain’s seats’, bench seat, and carpeting. The factory A/C blows cold air and all the instrumentation functions. There is a Pioneer 4-speaker stereo system with AM/FM/Bluetooth added as well as a back up camera.
The most of the exterior paint is believed to be original and shows little to no rust, nor any bodywork. There are a few chips and scratches, but otherwise the van is straight (see photos).
At one time the van was used by a leather company and unfortunately, you can see some ‘ghosting’ of the letters where they were removed. It’s not that obvious, but you can see it at the right angle.
Recent work performed includes all the fluids being changed, new headlights and side marker lights, rebuilt steering box, tow mirrors, and an Aluminess full-size spare tire rack on the back.
Please note there are no airbags in the van, just seatbelts and none of the front grille lights have been connected. The cab lights do work.
