DESCRIPTION:
For sale by a private party is this low mileage (34,983) 2000 Mazda Miata MX-5 roadster powered by the original 1.8 L DOHC (Dual Over Head Cam) 4-cylinder engine rated at 140 horsepower and backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. The Miata wears its original Emerald Mica Green metallic paint with a tan soft top. It is currently on the third owner who has had the car for over 15 years and always keeps it in the garage and driven on nice days.

The car starts easily, runs smoothly and shifts without any issues. The engine shows no evidence of leaks. According to the owner, regular oil changes were performed during ownership. A Carfax can be provided upon request.
As mentioned, the exterior paint is original, and the car shows no accidents in its history. There are some “age related” scratches and dings, please review all photos carefully. All exterior backup, brake, turn signal, and headlights function.
The interior is also original and shows some wear on the driver’s seat (see photos) but is otherwise in good condition. All factory gauges function as well as the BOSE AM/FM/Cassette sound system. The A/C also blows cold air.
The top does show some age with broken stitching (see photo) but still fits nicely. Boot is in good condition.
The only “issue” noticed was a ‘clicking’ when you disengage the clutch at the top. Could be the safety switch which prevents the car from starting unless the clutch is pushed in. No other issues noted.
