For sale by a private party is this very low mileage (18,015) documented 1982 Chevrolet Corvette C3 wearing its original Claret Burgundy Metallic paint and tan leather interior. Power for the C3 comes from the numbers matching 5.7 L (350 cu in) Cross-Fire Fuel-Injected V8 rated at 200 horsepower and backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission.
This Corvette has always been garaged and never driven in poor weather. A car cover is included. The Carfax is clean and all documentation from the day it was purchased at Town & Country Chevrolet in Toms River, NJ is included. There is even a letter from the original owner requesting that the dealer replace the original AM/FM/8-track with an AM/FM/Cassette player (original radio is not included).
Every option on the car appears to function. This includes the power antenna, AM/FM/Cassette player, A/C, power seats, power windows, power steering and power brakes.
The original Claret Metallic paint looks excellent for being 44 years old! The front and rear facias are slightly faded and there are a few blemishes, but over all it is a true survivor (see photos).
The stock suspension had upgrades to the front sway bar with polyurethane bushings. Tires are 235/50R/15 B.F. Goodrich radials dated 2019.
