1971 Chevrolet Corvette which has gone through a complete ‘frame-on’ restoration with numerous upgrades and modifications. Not numbers matching. Only been driven approximately 2000 miles since it was finished 4 years ago. This model does have the re-moveable rear window along with the ‘T’ tops.

  • Engine & transmission: A “Blueprint” 383 cu in stroker motor resides in the engine compartment. Horsepower dyno’s in at 427 @ 5400 rpm and 470 #/ft of torque @ 4000 rpm. Modifications include HEI distributor w/tach drive, 700 cfm Holley carb w/electric choke, Aluminum cylinder heads 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves with 1.60 roller rockers, 4-bolt main block, Chevy ‘H’ beam rods, hydraulic roller cam, high volume oil pump, Edelbrock Endurashine intake manifold, custom aluminum radiator w/thermostatically controlled fans (manual switch too), long tube headers and complete exhaust system. Rebuilt stock Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission w/shift kit and trans cooler. Documents on the build are included.
  • Interior:  New factory style upholstery, door panels, dash pad, carpeting, and console. All factory gauges were rebuilt and function like new. A tilt & telescopic steering column was added along with a Kenwood AM/FM/USB stereo system. Refurbished power window mechanisms with tinted glass.
  • Body & paint: Single-stage urethane ‘immersion’ red which looks fantastic. According to the owner the 50,000 miles showing on the odometer are original as well as the body panels. Except for the ‘L88’ style hood. All exterior trim including bumpers and emblems are new as well as the windshield. The wiper door and wipers function like new.
  • Suspension & Differential: Stock suspension with all new parts including brakes system & hardware, shocks, bushings, sway bars, and a rebuilt 3.36:1 posi-traction differential. Tires are 215/70/15’s mounted on 5-spoke US Mag wheels.
