- About 10 years ago the owner had the T-Type repainted in slightly brighter white than the factory. Little too no bodywork was needed. All body panels appear to be original to the car with no evidence of rust. When the car was painted most of the exterior emblems were removed and the owner added LED headlights and sequential turn signals and brake lights (originals are not included). There is also a ‘cross support brace’ mounted in the trunk (see photo).
- The legendary intercooled and turbocharged V6 and 200R4 transmission remain stock except for the removal of the catalytic converter, aluminum 4 core radiator, after market exhaust system, and a fuel pressure gauge in the engine compartment.
- The interior is the factory cloth red and in good condition. The dash pad shows well and all the factory gauges including the tachometer and boost function along with the cassette player and AM/FM radio. Additional gauges were also added including fuel pressure & boost on the ‘A’ pillar, tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure, and voltmeter. The red button under the dash is for ‘roll-control’.
- The suspension is stock except for air bags in the rear and 18” U.S. Mags wheels with 235/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear Cooper Zeon S 3-5 radial tires which are 5 years old. Please note spacers are used on the wheel hubs for the wider tires.
- The overall condition of the car is very good. Some areas to note which have been photographed include two cracks on the roof and some discoloration on the lower left door from painting over ‘stone guard’. There are also two imperfections on the rear seat cushion.
- This T-Type starts easily, handles well, and still has a lot of ‘GO’.
- Owner selling for personal reasons.
