Here is an opportunity to own a very rare high-performance pickup truck which is believed to be 1 of 1 sold here in the USA. This is a 2009 GMC Canyon extended cab pickup powered by the optional 5.3 L 300 horsepower V8 with the optional ZQ8 suspension package. GM only built 1,109 V8 compact pickups with the ZQ8 package from 2009-2012. This is number 320 and of those is 1 of 40 GMC Canyon extended cabs and 1 of 4 painted in Inferno Orange. Three of the four produced went to Canada. This is the only one delivered here in the USA. Actual mileage on the GMC is just over 68,000.
The ZQ8 package included 2” lower ride height, heavy duty front sway bar, added rear sway bar, 30% stiffer springs, upgraded Bilstein shocks, 18×8 aluminum wheels, quick ratio steering w/a high-performance cooler, 4 channel ABS brakes with yaw control, and additional bracing for the frame.
Other factory options include the 4L60E automatic transmission, 3.43:1 posi-traction rear differential, sliding rear window, door locks, remote opener, and trailer package.
The owner installed Corbeaux RRX racing seats (original power seats included), Banks iDash Pro powertrain information system to monitor O2 levels, Cal Trac traction bars, Power Stop Z26 front brake kit including drilled rotors, cowl hood (original hood included), and New Interstate battery.
Other NEW equipment included with the sale which the owner has not installed: G-Force DIY transmission cross member to allow dual exhausts; shorty headers, 2 ½” hi flow catalytic converters, 2 ½” chambered mufflers, and steel rear roll pan.
The Carfax is clean and the GMC has never been in an accident. Paint is believed to be all original.
The truck is a true head-turner and a rare piece of GM history. It runs great and is a strong performer.
Selling for personal reasons.
