DESCRIPTION:

For sale by a private party is this 1967 Chevy 3-door Carryall 2WD Suburban wagon powered by the original 327 cu in V8 rated at 220 horsepower and backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Current owner has had the truck for over 30 years and purchased it from the original owner’s estate. The Suburban was purchased new in NC and used by the family and occasionally towed a camper. Some of the documentation included with the sale show the Chevy was repainted and had the engine rebuilt over 30 years and about 40,000 miles ago. Total mileage on the Suburban is estimated at 200,000.

Chevrolet options include power brakes, power steering, dealer installed A/C (does not work, possibly needs a new compressor), and (3) gas tanks (used on long trips when towing a camper).

As the “3-Door” sits, it will start and run with a ‘jump box’ (see video), but needs a new master cylinder, battery, and possibly an alternator. So, it cannot be driven safely until these items are replaced or repaired. Also, the (2) side gas tanks have not been used for quite some time and should probably be replaced or flushed out.

The body has had work done in the doors and rear quarter panels, but the floors and roof appear to be solid. You will also notice some rust coming through here and there. Please view all photos carefully. For a paint job going back for over 30 years it still looks good. The chrome side trim and emblems are included, but there are no clips. On the exterior only the headlights and parking lights function.

The Suburban’s interior is in good condition with cloth seat covers and aftermarket carpeting. Dashboard is in good shape and the factory gauges appear to function. Parking brake works.

The suspension is stock except for the 15” Centerline aluminum wheels and the B.F. Goodrich 30×9.5×15 radial tires.
