1967 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 327

DESCRIPTION:

Up for sale by a private party is this beautifully restored and numbers matching 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible in Elkhart Blue with a white convertible top, and a black interior. This Corvette is powered by the original 327 cu in V8 with the 350-horsepower option and backed by a Muncie M-20 wide ratio 4-speed with a 3.36:1 posi-traction rear differential. The car was originally purchased in California and retains the A.I.R. equipment that came on the car. It is believed to be on its third owner, and it has a clean WVA title. A removeable black vinyl hard top (and cart) is included, but it is not the original top that came with the car.

This Corvette was restored in 2002 by Vintage Motors Restoration in Inwood, WVA. It had a ‘frame-on’ build which included the repaint, detailing the under carriage, rebuild of the suspension, engine, transmission, rear differential, wiring, gauges, brakes, top, etc. The only items which were not redone were the seats and carpeting. The car has always been garage kept and has less than 2,000 miles on the restoration. A photo book documenting the entire build is included in the sale.

Some of the key items to note are the original carburetor, the Winters aluminum intake manifold, 4-wheel disc brakes (non-power), power steering, AM/FM radio (works), Coker Red-Line tires, and that the body was built by A.O. Smith.

Trim Tag #’s:

H 08: Built March 8, 1967

467: Convertible

A-200: Body manufacturer, A.O. Smith #200

TRIM: STD (black vinyl)

PAINT: 980 Elkhart Blue

Engine Stamping #: 7114221 V0 220 HD

Please note that the only issues with the car appear to be some wear on the driver’s seat, carpeting is faded, the clock not working and the brake lights not working (possibly needing a new switch). Otherwise, everything functions as it should.

It’s a great car to drive and draws attention everywhere it goes.
