Professionally built 1931 Model A Ford ‘Murray’ 4-door sedan show car powered by a 350 cu in HO Chevrolet V8, backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission and 9” Ford differential. This sedan was built by Pro Comp Customs of Glenshaw, PA and painted by Bruce Harvey approximately 4 years and 1,180 miles ago. You will not be disappointed with the quality and workmanship performed on this Ford. The body is all steel, no fiberglass was used.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Body & Paint:
The steel ‘Murray’ sedan body was chopped 2” before being treated to a 2-stage urethane custom paint job which starts as black and fades into a metallic purple. Subtle flames were added to accent the custom Root Lieb steel 3-piece hood with a 1” cowl. Drip rails, cowl vent, side moldings, and body seams were all filled and smoothed. 1932 Ford grille shell uses a stainless-steel insert. Retains the original push-out windshield.
All the glass is tinted except the windshield and windows are power operated. Headlights and taillights are LED with built in turn signals.
Engine & Transmission:
Chevrolet 350 cu in HO crate motor with 700 cfm Holley carburetor, HEI ignition, polished March serpentine belt system, polished Vintage Air/Heat system, ceramic coated ‘shorty’ headers, 2 ½” custom stainless-steel exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. Aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan.
Rebuilt 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit and 2500 stall converter.
Chassis:
Brookville 1932 Ford frame which has been ‘pinched’ and added a fully chrome and polished Heidt’s independent front-end with rack & pinion steering (non-power) and QA1 adjustable coil over shocks. The 9” Ford rear differential was custom finished in purple metallic with a 4-bar suspension and coil over shocks. The Ford rear houses 3.70:1 gears (posi-traction) with 31 spline axles,
Brakes are 4-wheel power disc by Wilwood with master cylinder mounted on the frame.
Tires are by Falken measuring 195/55/16 front and 265/60/18 rear with 16” and 18” Polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels.
Interior:
Complete custom interior with leather upholstery, door panel inserts, and lap seatbelts. Ron Francis wiring harness. Seats are 6-way power. A ’32 dashboard with an aluminum insert houses VDO gauges (speedometer/odometer, voltmeter, fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure) Ididit tilt steering column with column shift and digital selector. All knobs and gauges are fully illuminated. Custom 4-speaker stereo system with headliner console housing the Pioneer AM/FM radio.
