Sold & transported from Mt. Airy, MD to San Francisco, CA.  Rare and beautifully restored 1967 Intermeccanica Italia Torino with serial number 50003. This was the third Italia produced and believed to be the first in white.

  • According to certain publications regarding “The Prancing Bull” these cars were hand-built and created by Robert Cumberford and later revised by Franco Scaglione.
  • They were designed to compete with the Corvette and AC Cobra market during the 1960s.
  • Power came from Ford’s Hi-Performance 289 c.i. solid lifter cammed V-8 rated at 271 h.p. It was backed by a Top loader 4-speed and 9” Ford differential. These cars were stellar performers considering they only weighed about 2400 lbs!!
  • According to various resources, the initial run of the roadsters were actually coupes (called Omegas) which had their tops cut off. This particular car showed evidence of this crude factory modification when the owner did the complete frame-off restoration.
  • As you can see from the photos and video this Italia is immaculate throughout. Having every nut, bolt, and screw replaced. The build took approximately 7 years and was completed in 2018. Less than 1000 miles have been logged on the car since its completion and it has been certified by the Historic Vehicle Association & FIVA (Federation Internationale Des Vehicules Anciens) North America.

Highlights to be noted are:
