- The actual mileage is 109,000, but this C2 had a ‘frame-on’ restoration approximately 17 years and only 3000 miles ago. This included but was not limited to rebuilding the numbers matching 327 motor to stock specifications, servicing the original M20 transmission, new suspension parts, and a new clutch pack.
- According to the owner the car has never been in an accident and the original bonding strips are in place. The paint is a 2-stage urethane with a base and clear coat. The exterior chrome is in excellent condition as well as all the glass. The windshield was replaced when the restoration was done. There are two stress cracks on the front fenders as well as a couple of chips (see photos). But overall, the exterior of the Corvette looks great.
- The original interior was changed from blue vinyl to black by a prior owner before the restoration was performed. This included reupholstering the seats, new door panels, carpeting, etc. The factory gauges function except the clock.
- It appears when the suspension was redone, new bushings, power steering pump, rear HD springs, and shocks were added. It appears the rear differential reads “AK” for 3.36:1 (open). Recently the entire brake system was replaced except for the lines. This includes rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, and booster.
- Recent changes and upgrades include the factory style side pipes, 17” Chrome American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and B.F. Goodrich 225/50ZR/17 tires with less than 500 miles (original wheels and hubcaps are included), Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor with electric choke (original carb is included), Pertronics electronic ignition, electric fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator, new seatbelts (originals are included), and right hand side view mirror.
- The Corvette starts easily drives great and performs strong. No disappointments.
- Selling for personal reasons.
