This frame-off restoration was done 20+ years ago and still looks great. Less than 1000 miles have been logged since the work was complete. The Jeepster is finished in its original color of Nassau Crème using acrylic enamel. There is no bubbling or rust showing and floors as well as the frame are in excellent condition. There does appear to be some body work in the lower rear quarter panels and the paint in the black belt line has some ‘crazing’. But overall, it looks great. Please view all photos carefully.
The exterior chrome, top, and front windshield are in “show” condition.
The engine, transmission, and the rear differential were all rebuilt and appear to have no issues including leaks or noises.
The electrical system has been converted to 12-volts. All lights, including the two spotlights, and aftermarket turn signals function normally. All gauges work except for ‘fuel’. The radio is strictly for “show” and does not work.
The original style reupholstered vinyl interior looks great with no tears, rips, or broken seams. Behind the rear seat is storage ‘pocket’ to keep the side curtains. All four are included and in excellent condition.
Recent work performed by the owner includes a complete tune-up with plugs, wires, points, and condenser, new exhaust system with muffler, completely new brake system including master and wheel cylinders, and a gas tank.
Included in the sale are original manuals, some sales literature, brochures, and a car cover.
This Jeepster starts easily using manual choke and runs great.
Selling to reduce “toy collection”.
