This is an ORIGINAL 1971 Plymouth ‘Cuda 383 convertible, restored in its original B5 blue and black convertible top with a glass window. Only approximately 200 miles have been logged on the car since its completion. This car is NOT being presented as rotisserie or concourse restoration. Just a very nice restoration by a private Plymouth enthusiast.

History of the car started back in 1977 when the car was purchased from the original owner and had a 440 c.i. engine installed and the original 383/300 h.p. was scrapped. The car was sold to another relative (approximately) 15 years ago and they restored the car over a 10 year period, to the condition you see pictured using a “crate”, period-correct, 383/300 h.p. engine with the casting # of 2468130 (made 1959-1971) and the original numbers matching HD Torque flight and 8.75” differential with 3.23:1 ‘Sure-Grip’ gears. It is believed the transmission and rear were rebuilt at the same time of the restoration.
If you are curious about the ‘orange’ paint on the differential, the owner decided to not paint it as a memory of the 1970s. Also, in the photo showing the engine number, that is NOT oil, but gasket sealant which was applied when the engine was built. There are no leaks present.
The car does not show any rust, replacement body panels or Bondo. The floors are original and solid. The B5 Blue was professionally applied and makes a great presentation. It was done in a 2-stage urethane. Some of the chrome is original and shows age because it was either cost prohibitive to replate or an NOS (new old stock) item could not be found. Passenger side-view mirror is missing. The bumpers were replated.
The interior door panels, top, seats, and carpet were redone per the original color(s). There is a new blue ‘boot’ for the top which matches the interior. The dashboard, steering wheel, console, shifter, steering column, and interior chrome is original and look good. All factory gauges function, except the clock and a period-correct replacement Chrysler AM radio, was used because an aftermarket 8-track player had replaced the original item.
All of the suspension parts were gone through and replaced including shocks springs and bushings. The 14” 5-spoke Chrysler wheels are original to the car.
Recently a new Holley 650 cfm carburetor was added, and the car starts easily and runs great. All the interior and exterior lights function as normal.
Additionally, these parts are included: Rear exterior convertible top stainless trim; Conv. Top weatherstripping kit; hood to cowl weather stripping; window weather stripping; door weather stripping; (2) trunk weatherstripping kits; (4) 14” trim rings; (2) sun visors; chrome dip stick; (2) used carburetors; left-hand side view mirror.
I am listing this vehicle as a representative (broker) for the owner. All photographs and videos were taken by me. All of the information presented was given to me by the owner. All questions will be directed to me and answered in a timely manner.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
