1965 Mustang convertible with rebuilt 200 c.i. 6-cylinder and C-4 automatic transmission. Current owner purchased the car over 20 years ago and did the restoration himself.
Original color is the Rangoon Red with black interior, but the prior owner put a white top on it. The boot is black. The entire restoration, including the bodywork (2 new rear quarter panels and a tail light panel) was performed by the current owner. Paint is PPG single-stage urethane and is in excellent condition.
The Mustang was also originally a manual 3-speed stick but the owner changed over to the automatic for personal preference.
The engine and suspension were totally rebuilt with new parts. Additionally, power brakes and new hardware were added with discs up front. The 4-lug wheels were retained with new 14” radials.
The interior seats and carpet were replaced with new covers, apparently, the rear of the front seat cover has gone missing.
Additionally, there are some small details that need attention such as the radio has not been connected, ashtray put into the dash (included), the window washer system needs to be installed (included with the FOMOCO bag), back up lights are not connected, the side vent chrome has not been attached (included).
The car has had only 25-30 miles logged on the odometer since completion because of too many other projects and toys.
It is a great driver and with some final touches a sure car show pleaser.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
