1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Sedan Street Rod. Great looking and reliable street rod ideal for a family. All of the modern conveniences of a new modeled car with the styling of a ’40 Chevy. Options include power brakes (disc front, drum rear), Mustang II power rack & pinion steering (booster from an ’87 Monte Carlo), Vintage Air A/C & heat, and Pioneer AM/FM/CD player.
Current owner purchased the car locally 2 years ago and have only logged 200 miles on the odometer attending local shows and events.
Due to personal reasons, they need to sell it.
The prior owner and builder are estimated to have completed the car over 10 years ago. Paint is a great single stage urethane which looks good at any cruise night. Body is all steel and shows some minor rust issues in the front of the rear fenders near the fiberglass running boards, but overall still solid. There are electric neon lights under the front end and each running board.
The power comes from a slightly modified 350 c.i. Chevy V-8 which was bored.30” over, a Magnum 260 roller cam & lifters, Edelbrock intake, and carburetor, and coated headers. It is backed by a Turbo 350 automatic with a B&M shift kit & converter, and a Camaro 10-bolt differential carrying 3.73:1 (open) gears rounds out the driveline. Tires are Dunlop
Frame was boxed with leaf springs in the rear and 2” dropped spindles w/coil overs up front. Tires are all Dunlop (front: 205 x 70R x 15; rear: 235 x 75R x 15)
Interior is velour using 1987 Berretta front seats and VDO gauges.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
