Beautiful one-of-a-kind 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero Resto Mod Show Car completed approximately 12 years and 5,600 miles ago powered by a 347 cu. in. Ford Windsor ‘Stroker’ motor and backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The Ranchero is currently on its third owner; it has always been well cared for and garage kept. All the bodywork looks as good as it did when the Ranchero was first completed.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Body & Paint: The two-tone paint work is done in 2-stage PPG urethane Scion Blackberry Crush Metallic and Ford Titanium Frost with an orange pinstripe dividing the colors.

There are many custom features which include cut & narrowed molded-in steel bumpers, cut & molded bedrails, filled tailgate, front fenders molded into the rocker panels, shaved door handles, drip rails, and wipers. One-piece driver and passenger windows.

Engine & Transmission: Professionally built by Speed Sports 347 cu. in. Ford ‘Stroker’ motor with 9.5:1 compression ratio Mahle forged pistons, Forged Eagle crankshaft, RHS aluminum heads with 2.02” intake / 1.60” exhaust valves, Comp Cams roller cam kit, Edelbrock ‘Endurashine’ intake manifold, Holley 750 cfm double pumper carb, MSD ignition with 6AL box, Ron Davis Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, Billet Specialties serpentine belt system with Vintage Air A/C, Doug’s headers with 2 ½” Magna Flow mufflers. Engine dyno’d at 400 hp & 425 #/ft of torque.

C4 Ford automatic transmission with shift kit, TCI 2500 stall converter, and B&M Quick Shift shifter.

Interior: Burgundy and gray custom leather upholstery on 1998 Mustang bucket seats in a surround console moved back to allow more leg-room. Suede headliner, plush carpeting, custom and filled one piece dashboard with Teleflex Genesis Haneline gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel, and under the dash hand controls for A/C & heat.

Chassis: Rod & Custom power rack & pinion steering front-end with tubular ‘A’-arms and Aldan coil over shocks. R&C 4-link rear suspension with Aldan coil over shocks, 8” Ford differential with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears. 4-wheel power disc brakes (10” front & 9” rear). Billet Specialties Intro wheels measuring 17” front and 18” rear with Goodyear Eagle F1 235/40R17 and 245/45R18.
