1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS painted in a 2-stage urethane Lexus Blue metallic. This is an original RS SS 396 cu. in. / 325 horsepower automatic car but it’s not matching numbers. The engine is a newly built 396 backed by a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear differential. The driveline has less than 500 miles on it. See specifics below. BODY & PAINT: The Lexus blue metallic urethane with white stripes and 2” cowl hood was done approximately 15 years ago. Floors in trunk and passenger area appear original and solid. There is no evidence of bubbling or cracking. Straight body lines and no visible replacement panels. Please view pictures carefully.
Chrome and stainless are in good condition. Passenger and driver’s glass have scratches.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION: .030” over bored 396 cu. in. engine with 10:1 forged pistons, Lunati .500 + lift hydraulic roller cam and roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer 2-0 dual plan intake manifold, Holley 750 double pumper carb, Edelbrock performance manual fuel pump, vacuum canister, MSD ignition with HEI distributor, MSD 6AL box, Ceramic coated Hedman Headers with 2 ½” exhaust, FlowMaster mufflers, HD aluminum radiator, and 180 degree thermostat.
Turbo 400 transmission with 2500-2800 rpm stall converter and B&M shift kit.
SUSPENSION & DIFFERENTIAL: Stock Camaro suspension with mono-leaf rear springs and bolt-on traction bars. 10-bolt Chevy differential with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears. Power brakes (disc front & drums rear). B.F Goodrich tires dated 2011 with 205/65R/15 front and 275/60R/15 rear on 15” Rally wheels.
INTERIOR: Older reupholstering of factory style vinyl with console shifter and bucket seats. Factory speedometer and odometer function, but gas gauge does not. Aftermarket Autometer tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltmeter were added and function. Pioneer AM/FM/CD player works. Noted no broken seams or tears, but an old cigarette burn in passenger seat.
NOTED ITEMS: Car starts easily and runs smoothly with no hesitation. No leaks. Paint and bodywork look good. Transmission needs adjustment it only shifts manually, exterior lights and turn signals work, but headlight doors do not open, back up light (only one works) comes on in drive.
