  • This professionally built Hot Rod was completed approximately 10 years ago and has been driven less than 5,000 miles. Never raced or abused.
  • Owner started with a rust-free southern car, had it painted using a 2-stage urethane in gun metal gray and piano black. There was little to no bodywork needed. Floors, trunk, doors are solid. With the re-chromed bumpers, chrome headlights and grille, the car looks fantastic.
  • Under the hood is a 350 cu. in crate motor rated at about 300 h.p. and includes an Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, Performer EPS intake manifold, HEI ignition, March serpentine belt system, 6-12 amp conversion, custom 17 gallon fuel tank, HD aluminum radiator, 17” Sidewinder fan, vacuum canister, “ram horn” style exhaust manifolds, 2 ¼” dual exhaust with Magna Flow mufflers, ‘ram-air’ air cleaner, and custom valve covers.
  • The interior uses reupholstered Suburu buckets seats in black leather, rear seat was done in a traditional vinyl, new door panels, headliner, carpeting, Ididit chrome tilt steering column with column shift indicator, Mahogany steering wheel, Classic gauges (combination speedometer & tachometer, fuel, oil pressure, water temperature, voltmeter, and clock). An aftermarket AM/FM classic radio with power antenna, and custom console were also added. Creature comforts include Vintage Air heat & A/C, and rear window defroster.
  • The suspension starts with the stock frame being modified to house the tubular front ‘A’ arms with coil over shocks, Mustang II power rack & pinion steering, Wilwood brakes (discs front & drums rear), custom cross member for transmission, 9” Ford rear with 2 ½” lowering blocks, AFCO coil over shocks, and an added leaf in each leaf spring. Finishing it off are 16” American racing chrome wheels with ‘Buick’ caps and 215/70R/16 front and 255/70R/16 rear Wrangler radial tires.
  • This Buick is a multiple show winner plus drives & handles exceptionally well. It can cruise easily at 65 mph without any vibrations or overheating issues in the hottest days of the summer.
  • Owner is selling for personal reasons.
