2004 Scion xB sedan in it’s original “Lava” color and powered by a 450+ 383 c.i. Chevrolet stroker motor with a 700R4 automatic transmission, and an 8.8” Ford differential with 3.73:1 gears!! Professionally built by Advanced Auto Concepts in 2006-07 and trailered to car shows so the total mileage is estimated to be less than 100 miles. The GPS speedometer and tach were never connected so exact mileage is not known.

The car has been garage kept in a climate-controlled environment and recently had the fuel system flushed, filters changed, brakes checked, and carburetor rebuilt.

No over heating issues, but please note there are no power brakes and the rack & pinion steering is manual.

This is truly a “head-turner” everywhere it goes and a blast to drive considering it only weighs about 2900 lbs!

SPECIFICATIONS

2004 Scion xB body painted in a 2-stage “Lava” Scion color. There are no cracks, scratches, or rust bubbles evident.
Custom modifications to engine compartment to fit V8 Chevy.
Custom new floor to accommodate the new chassis.
Mini-tubbed rear wheel wells.
New wiring installed with relays.
There are no wipers, and the cowl was removed to allow hot air to escape.

Bored and stroked 350 c.i. Chevrolet small block to 383 c.i.
Demon 750 cfm Carburetor
Edelbrock intake manifold
Edelbrock Aluminum heads
Hydraulic flat tappet cam
9.5:1 Forged pistons and rods
Remote oil filter system
Holley electric fuel pump
Custom 18-gallon stainless steel fuel tank.
Braided lines and fittings throughout.
Transmission cooler
Custom Aluminum radiator w/thermostatically controlled fans.
MSD ignition and billet distributor.
Custom headers Jet Hot coated.
Custom 3” exhaust system with modified Flowmaster mufflers Jet Hot coated.
700R4 automatic transmission with 3200 stall converter.
Stock shifter customized to work with transmission.

Stock Scion interior.
Vintage Air A/C & heat (A/C has never been charged or used)
The driver’s seat shows a small wear spot, but otherwise it is in good condition.
None of the factory gauges work.
GPS type speedometer and tachometer is installed but never connected.
Aftermarket Autometer Oil pressure, Voltmeter, and Water temperature gauges function.
Pioneer multi speaker AM/FM/CD player
Power windows function.
To open the rear gate and access the gas tank the ‘door lock’ button is used.
The vertical rear seat section is not secured at the bottom.

Hand built chassis with 4-link for rear and modifications to support V8 engine.
8.8” Ford differential with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears.
Non-power Rack & Pinion steering.
Koni adjustable coil over shocks in front.
QA1 adjustable shocks in rear.
Custom 15” Weld Wheel Drag Lites for redrilled 4-stud rotors and axles.
B.F. Goodrich T/A radials (dated 2006 and show no dry rot) front are 195x60x15, rear are 295x50x15.
