Beautiful 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe convertible in its original color of Sunland Beige with matching top, and only 32,600 original miles. This Ford has been in the same family since 1969 and had a complete “frame-off” restoration which began in the mid 1990’s through mid-2000’s. Then due to finances, family, and work the car was not totally completed until 2021. Just about everything was rebuilt or replaced. There is no rust, bubbling, cracks or ‘bondo’ anywhere in the body. Documentation and photographs are included showing the purchase from 1969 until now.

The most recent purchases include the Coker 15” wide white wall radial tires and a new Optima 6-volt battery which sits within a reproduction vintage battery case.

Included with the sale are the boot for the top, side panels for seats, extra water pump, original turn signal mechanism, original radiator, and shelf panels for behind rear seat (see photo).

Please note, there are a few items which still need to be addressed and include the power mechanism for the top (top will only go down manually), radio, clock, and heater motor. Otherwise, everything else functions normally.

The convertible is a ‘blast’ to drive, draws attention everywhere, and runs great.

SPECIFICATIONS

Original body with no replacement or welded in panels.
All steel painted in enamel.
Windows operate easily and believed to be original.
There is a small ‘star’ chip in the right rear quarter window, otherwise all the glass is good.
Exterior chrome and emblems are show quality.
New weather stripping throughout the car.

Rebuilt and original 239 c.i. “Flathead” V-8 rated at 100 h.p.
The only additions are the Fenton headers, ‘Smitty’ mufflers, and dual exhaust.
Original radiator refitted with a 4-core unit for better cooling
Transmission was rebuilt and a new clutch pack was installed

Complete LaBaron Bonney interior and top.

Stock Ford chassis, which was rebuilt including the brakes, springs, bushings, differential, etc.
