“Lil Willie” 1941 Willys coupe using a Dennis Taylor fiberglass body and square tubing frame, powered by a new blown, fuel injected 502 c.i. big block Chevy and backed by a Turbo 400. The owner purchased the car approximately 8 years ago and just decided last year to ‘freshen’ up the car. Including a new engine, interior, rebuilt suspension, fresh paint, and much more. It has been driven only 112 miles since its completion near the end of 2022. See details below.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Body & Paint
- Color is a 2000 Ford Chrome Yellow. During the past year, the entire car had any stone chips or cracks repaired, and then the car was re-cleared. The paint looks fantastic.
- Windows are powered and only operate when the doors are closed, and the sensors make contact. Both doors open using 2 buttons under the driver’s side door. Doors will open even if the power is off. No door poppers.
- Engine & Transmission
- New 502 c.i. big block Chevy professionally built by Autofab Racing using 8.5:1 forged pistons and aluminum heads.
- The supercharger is a BDS 8:71 with its EFI fuel injection system.
- MSD handles the ignition with a billet distributor and 6AL box. Headers are custom-made, and the 4-inch stainless-steel exhaust system exits out the rear.
- Be Cool radiator system handles the engine while separate transmission and oil coolers were also added.
- The A/C & heat are handled by Vintage Air, with the fan and condenser located in the rear. Although the system worked fine before the refurbishing, the owner has not had time to recharge it with R134.
- Transmission is a blue-printed Turbo 400 with a 3,000-rpm stall converter with a manual shift valve body.
- Interior
- Completely new high-quality vinyl interior and trunk hand sewn by All Stitched Out of Easton, MD.
- The entire interior, including underneath the headliner, was covered in Dynomat insulation.
- New Auto Meter Carbon Fiber gauges including Speedometer/Odometer, Tachometer, Fuel, Voltmeter, Oil pressure, Water temp, Boost, and Trans temp.
- The gauges light up in blue when the lights are on, and even the courtesy lights are tinted blue.
- Power ‘kill switch’ is located behind the passenger seat, and all of the wiring is easily accessible by removing the rear panel behind the seats, which is held in with magnets. Shifter is by B&M.
- Chassis & Differential
- Dennis Taylor square tube frame with tubular ‘A’-arms, Mustang II rack & pinion steering, and QA1 coil over shocks.
- The rear is a 9” Ford with 3.90:1 positraction gears and a 4-link.
- The brakes are 4-wheel disc and the new radial tires are by Hoosier using 31 x 18.5R x 15 (rear) and 25 x 7.5 x 15 (front). The Budnick wheels are also new.

Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
