Beautiful 1930 Model ‘A’ Ford roadster Hot Rod/Street Rod powered by a 355 c.i. small block Chevrolet and backed by a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission.

Build was completed approximately 8 years and 5,800 miles ago.

The Roadster is show quality throughout. Everything works and runs as well as it looks (see video).

PLEASE NOTE….THERE IS NO TOP. IT IS AN OPEN ROADSTER.

SPECIFICATIONS

Model A Fiberglass body (manufacturer is unknown) channeled over a stock frame. Both are painted in a two-stage maroon urethane.
No chips or cracks anywhere on the body.
One-piece lift-off aluminum hood and aluminum rear trunk lid have a total of 640 louvers.
Sectioned 1932 Ford grille shell.
Handmade rear bumper and front frame horn spacer.
Duval split glass windshield
LED taillights
Original style headlights and fog light.

350 c.i. Chevrolet bored .030” over for 355 c.i.
Low compression forged pistons
Mild hydraulic cam
Vintage Offenhauser aluminum 3×2 barrel intake manifold
Freshly rebuilt and functional 2-barrel carburetors
MSD ignition
Coated shorty headers
Heat-resistant wrapped dual exhaust system with ‘Smitty’ style mufflers.
Aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan.
Remote oil system
Holley High-Performance manual fuel pump
15-gallon stainless fuel cell in trunk
Stainless steel and braided lines are used throughout.
Rebuilt 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission.

Rugged Marine grade vinyl upholstery with large Velcro side pockets.
New carpeting and floor mats
Stewart Warner gauges – Speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, fuel, volts, and water temperature.
Quick-release steering wheel for easy access.

Boxed and painted 1930 Model A-frame.
2” dropped and drilled front ‘I’ beam axle w/radius rods
9” Ford differential w/3.73:1 gears (open).
4-link with adjustable coil over shocks
11” drum brakes w/ dual bail master cylinder.
16” ET custom slotted wheels
NEW Excelsior Stahl Sport radial tires: 5.50 x 16 (front) & 7.50 x 16 (rear)
