1939 Ford 2-door sedan built in a true ‘50’s style including a 255 c.i. Mercury Flathead V-8 and 3-speed manual transmission. This is an all-steel Ford with nostalgic modifications and late model enhancements to make it a fun reliable ‘Hot Rod’ to attend car shows and cruise events.

The Mercury Flathead has been rebuilt using aluminum heads, twin Stromberg 97 carbs, a new gas tank and fuel system, a 12-volt charging system, electric fuel pump, new alternator, headers, and dual exhaust with ‘Smitty’ style mufflers.
The stock 3-speed transmission was rebuilt, and a new clutch pack was added.
The chassis and differential are stock, but the front end is treated to a 3” dropped axle, new shocks and springs (all around), dual master cylinder with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear, and new 15” American Classic white wall radial tires mounted on new rims with trim rings and V8 Ford hubcaps.
The interior was reupholstered in a tweed material and shows no tears or broken seams. Stock gauges for fuel, battery, temperature, and oil pressure function with an after-market oil pressure gauge mounted under the dash. Early Mopar heater was used in place of the Ford unit.
The black enamel paint shows some ‘patina’ and age with a few areas of small bubbling and cracks (see photos). Overall, it is a good street paint job. The windows go up and down easily, with only the passenger door window having a slight chip near the top.
All exterior lights and turn signals function, and the rear taillights are LED, so they are nice and bright.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
