For sale by a private collector is this beautiful 80,000 mile, 2-owner original and unrestored 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL (W113) Pagode in its original Papyrus white paint, black TEX upholstery interior with wood accents, (new) blue convertible top, and removable hardtop in blue.

Power comes from the original (numbers matching) 2.8l in-line 6-cylinder rated at 157 hp. and backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The roadster includes original tool roll and jack, all proper factory spot welds and “fender notches” are evident, 4-wheel disc brakes, and factory A/C.
The current owner purchased the car 14 years ago from the original owner in Georgia. Unfortunately, there is no documentation that accompanies the car. The car has no rust and has never been in an accident.
Besides the new top, a new piece of wood along the windshield and dash was replaced, new weather stripping around the doors, and window channel ‘whiskers’.
Please note the car has been sitting in the owner’s climate-controlled garage but has not been driven in about 12 months. The A/C does come on and blows cool air. Might need to be charged. Also, when you turn on the A/C, the auxiliary cooling fan that comes on hits the shroud.
There are two minor leaks. One is the transmission pan gasket, and the other is from the engine drain plug.
The Mercedes drives smoothly, responds easily, and all of the factory gauges function except the clock. It has an aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD player. The original Becker radio is not included.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers,” and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
