1930 Model ‘A’ Ford “Open Express Bodied Pickup”. This is a unique and ground up build which started as an original Model ‘A’ sedan and then had Richard A. Currier’s Horseless Carriage Co. of Cape Neddick, Maine provide the solid Red Oak cab and bed.

As you can see by the photos and build this Ford is new throughout and has less than 75 miles on it since completion 4 years ago. Mileage was accumulated attending parades and shows in the area. Please be sure to watch the video to see that the Ford starts (still 6 volt) and runs exactly the way they did when they rolled off “Henry Ford’s” assembly line in 1930.
The only window is the front windshield which does pop out. All of the original gauges function normally. The brake system is a 1930’s Model ‘A’ Ford item, no ‘juice’ brakes. The gas tank is still located in the cowl, per usual.
Every…and I do mean EVERY, nut, bolt, screw, brake part, etc. is new. The original engine (which is numbers matching to the title & frame), 3-speed manual transmission, and rear differential were rebuilt and new inside & out. The one addition you will notice in the video is the dual-LED stop lights which were added for safety.
The STEEL body is painted a traditional blue w/black fenders using a 2-stage urethane. There are no cracks, scratches, bubbles, or anything showing in the sheet metal or paint.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
