1970 Mustang coupe powered by a 302 Windsor small-block backed by a stock wide-ratio AV1 4-speed and a stock 8” rear differential with 3.00:1 (open) gears.

Current owner purchased the car approximately 11 years and 200 miles ago. Not much is known about the car except what you see in the video and photos. Routine maintenance has been done including oil changes, new brakes, rear tires, clutch pack, and a tune-up. It has been garaged since it was purchased.
By decoding the VIN this Mustang originally came from Ford with a 250 c.i. I6 and a 3-speed transmission. It was an extremely basic model with no A/C or power brakes. Only power steering.
One of the prior owners switched out the engine & trans. The 302 appears to be a stock low-horsepower version with an added Weiand intake manifold and Holley 650 carburetor.
Interior is in good condition with the factory seats being treated to color matching inserts. The factory gauges as well as the added tach, water temperature, oil pressure, and amp meter function normally. Exterior & interior lights and turn signals also function normally, only the wipers, high beam switch, and backup lights do not work.
The age of the paint job is not known but shows little to no bodywork. There are a couple of bubbles (see photos). Floors and torque boxes appear solid, and it looks as if the gas tank was changed at some point. Hood scoop is not functional, and neither are the turn signals in the scoop. Glass and chrome are in excellent condition. The tint on the glass is removable.
The suspension is stock except for the addition of air shocks in the rear and grease fittings for the front control arms. Tire sizes are 215/65R/15 rear and 185/65R/14 front.
The Mustang starts easily, runs great, and is fun to drive. The “orange crush” color draws attention wherever it goes.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
