Here for your consideration to buy is a great cruising 1957 Chevrolet Corvette which has been in the third owner’s possession since 1972. The Vette spent its first 3 years at a shop being taken apart and restored until it finally was on the road. The restoration included all new wiring, brakes, fuel tank & lines, and interior. Since then it has logged approximately 60,000 miles on the odometer attending shows around the MD & PA area.

The frame was painted using Emron and the silver and black exterior colors are lacquer. And for a 40+ year old paint job it still looks great with only a few ‘age’ spots showing (see photos). Original bonding strips are still in place and as far as the owner knows it has never been in any accidents.
This is not a numbers matching nor an NCRS competitor. It was built to look good, be fun and reliable to drive. Originally the car was white with a red interior. The Corvette comes with two tops. The soft one was just replaced about 6 years ago when new carpeting was added. The hard top was painted to match the car, but it needs a new headliner.
The 283 c.i. small block engine and M-20 4-speed transmission came from a 1967 Chevelle and were rebuilt when the car was restored back in the ‘70’s. The rear differential is a stock ‘open’ 3.23 geared unit. It starts easily and shifts smoothly.
Owner has kept up with the maintenance and added some upgrades which include electronic ignition, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor and Performer intake manifold, larger radiator, and a quartz clock. All of the gauges function including the radio.
There are no leaks or over heating issues. Owner is selling for personal reasons.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
