Super “sleeper” 2001 911 Porsche Carrera powered by a NEW crate motor GM LS3 V-8 rated at 430 h.p.!!!! Owner completed the transplant using a Renegade Hybrid adapter kit approximately 4 years ago. The look and fit are like factory and the LS engine weighs less than the original Porsche ‘flat’ 6-cylinder. Owner retained the factory style Carrera mufflers so you can’t even hear a difference.

Original Porsche 6-speed transmission, shifter, and axles were used, but a new flywheel and clutch pack were added. To handle the additional heat from the LS two side-mounted aluminum radiators with thermostatically controlled electric fans were added to the factory front aluminum unit. The LS3 engine stays at the factory recommended 210 degrees even on the hottest days.
The interior is original and in very good condition. The additional computers for the LS are mounted under the rear seat. All the factory gauges function normally except for the coolant temperature which was replaced with an aftermarket gauge. A/C also works and blows cold air.
The exterior still retains the original factory black and aero one-piece spoiler “whale tail”. According to Carfax the Porsche has been accident-free since new and never repainted.
The mileage is approximately 56,000, but less than 3,000 have been driven with the new engine. The car has NEVER been raced or abused and is garage kept.
Tires and brakes have less than 500 miles on them. Front are Pirelli 235/35ZR/19 and rear are 305/30ZR/19. The car handles like it’s on rails.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
