Sold and transported from Street, MD to Springfield IN

1988 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 4×4 in its original red and silver paneling with pinstripes. Powered the matching 5.7 L fuel-injected (throttle body) V-8, rated at approximately 230 horsepower, and backed by a 700R4 automatic transmission. This is a one owner pickup which has had a total restoration less than 3,000 miles and 4 years ago. The Pickup looks fantastic. Total mileage on the truck is 140,000. The only part of the truck which was left untouched, because of how well it runs is the engine. Everything else was rebuilt.

The build included replacing the original bed, hood, and front fenders. The only bodywork on the cab was done on the left and right rear corners. The glass was removed as well as the doors for a complete repaint. A sliding rear window was added. There appears to be no evidence of bubbling or rust on the body.

While the bed was off, the frame was stripped and painted, a new brake system and fuel lines were installed. The 36-gallon gas tank was cleaned out as well as new shocks and suspension components.

The latches and hardware in the doors and tailgate were replaced. New weather stripping was installed, and of course new tires, which measure to the stock specifications (245/75R/16), were added.

The interior was refurbished with new upholstery, carpeting, dashboard and gauges. The aftermarket AM/FM/CD player works great as well as the A/C & heat.

You will not be disappointed in owning and driving this ‘80’s 4×4 pickup. It starts easily and runs strong.
