1987 Porsche 944 (non-Turbo) powered by its original 2.5-liter 143 h.p. in-line 4 cylinder with only 76,000 original miles. The present owner purchased the car in 2017 and had a number of items repaired or replaced (see listing below) and then did not drive it.

The car does turn over and apparently did run and drive fine approximately a year ago. Since then, a leak has developed in the gas tank, and the Porsche does not start.
Electrically, all of the interior gauge’s function including the radio. Exterior lights, including the head and taillights, do not work.
The body is in good condition with no evidence of an accident, and the Carfax is clean, but apparently, the paint on the hood did peel. Otherwise, the rest of the car looks fine.
The stock leather interior is in very good condition and shows only a slight amount of wear. The sunroof did have a new weather strip installed when all of the other work was performed.

Please note that I am not a Porsche 944 expert and will answer all questions to the best of my ability. Here is what was done to the car in the fall of 2017, receipts are included.
NEW: starter, clutch master & slave cylinder, turn signals repaired, fuel injectors serviced and sealed, third and right brake light replaced, all fluids flushed and replaced (oil, coolant, brake, steering), brakes front & rear including rotors & pads, hood supports, hood insulation, fuel & air filters, spark plugs, timing belt, and water pump.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
