Sold & transported from Timonium, MD to Los Angeles, CA. 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL 107 series with 76,400 original miles. The second (current) owner purchased the car in 1989 when it had just over 9,000 miles. This 560 SL still retains all of the factory options including the first aid kit, original spare tire & wheel, owner’s manuals, and (2) tools to remove the hardtop.
NO TRADES
- The rust-free body and removeable top are in the original “Diamond Blue” from the factory and has never been repainted nor in an accident.
- Additionally, the original Haartz cloth top is in excellent condition showing no wear, broken seams, or fading of the rear window. The 560SL has always been well maintained and garaged.
- As for the interior, it does show some normal wear on the seats and dash (crack), but all the gauges as well as the radio function normally (power antenna does not fully extend). The owner is a non-smoker.
- Power comes from the original 5.6 L V-8 rated at 227 h.p. and backed by the factory 4-speed automatic transmission. It starts easily and runs smoothly. Service records show routine maintenance was performed regularly over the years.
- Recently the 560 SL had the oil & filter changed as well as the A/C system serviced and charged (blows cold air).
