Custom built 1985 Ford Bronco XLT 4 x 4 powered by a rebuilt 1986, 6.9-liter International Harvester 130 h.p. diesel, backed by a rebuilt C-6 automatic transmission and 4.10:1 limited slip rear differential.
This project was completed in 2015 with the body taken off the frame and rebuilt. The 2011 Ford Lightening 2-stage urethane silver was applied after new hood, fenders, tailgate, and rear quarter panels were welded in place. POR 15 was applied to the inside of all body panels.
New weather stripping was replaced throughout the Bronco as well as a new windshield, taillights, and a 1989 bumper.
All of the power window mechanisms were replaced including the rear window in the tailgate.
The engine was rebuilt by a local garage and used in a company vehicle for about 30,000 miles before it was transplanted into the Bronco. All new fuel lines, exhaust system, gas tank, radiator, water pump, and oil cooler are NEW.
The power brakes and hardware are new and have less than 500 miles on them. The power steering pump is new; both front and rear differentials were rebuilt with new universal joints and gaskets.
In the interior the seats are the stock original material, but with new carpeting and headliner. The stock original gauges all work.
All of the manuals for the Bronco and the 6.9-liter diesel are included.
It is truly a unique and reliable fun 4 x 4 to drive. The only items that was not replaced were the 15” tires.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
