1982 Buick Riviera Convertible in its original burgundy paint, matching colored leather interior, and white top. Total mileage is just over 102,000, and the car appears to have been well maintained. Recent work includes a new exhaust system, including the catalytic converter, master cylinder, and inspection of the brake system.

There were just over 1200 of these Rivieras built as they helped GM usher in a revitalization of America’s love for a luxury convertible. The only exterior colors were burgundy or white, and both came with a burgundy leather interior.
Power comes from the original 307 c.i. ‘GM’ V-8 rated at 140 h.p. and backed by the matching 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission.
The original interior shows well, with some wear (like the driver’s side shoulder harness plastic restraint missing), but no tears or broken seams. The factory gauges, including the radio, work, but the A/C and power antenna do not.
The power top functions without any issues and does appear to have been replaced at some point. The original ‘boot’ is in good shape.
The exterior body and paint appear original and are showing some age in the lower quarter panels (see pictures).
Outside lights, turn signals, and wipers appear to function normally.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
