Beautiful 2-owner, low mileage (20,200) and very original 1981 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe in its original black paint and matching leather interior. The present owner has had the car for over 40 years. It was only driven on nice days and always kept in a garage under a cover. The Carfax is clean, verifying the mileage, and showing no accidents or repaints.

Power for the Vette comes from the matching numbers (stock) 350 cu in Chevrolet V-8 rated at 190 hp. and backed by a Super T10 4-speed. Please note that of the over 40,000 Corvettes produced that year, less than 6,000 units had manual transmissions. This was also the last year for a Corvette to run a carburetor. All Corvettes became fuel-injected starting in 1982.

Recent maintenance performed includes new brakes with a master cylinder, pads, and rotors. It should be also noticed that several years ago the right-hand tailpipe and muffler were replaced.

The interior is stock and shows little to no wear. All the factory gauges function including the AM/FM radio with a power antenna. Only the A/C does not currently function. Possibly needs a charge, but owner is not sure.

The original wheels show well with little to no ‘curb rash’ The 225x60Rx15 B.F.Goodrich radial tires are 6 years old and have less than 500 miles on them.

This Corvette runs and drives as good as it looks. It is a true classic.
