1979 Chevrolet Corvette base model with original L48 5.7-L V-8 rated at 195 h.p. and backed by the matching Turbo Hydro-matic 3-speed automatic transmission and 3.55:1 posi-traction rear differential. Options include, power steering, power disc brakes, ‘T’ tops, and A/C.
The owner purchased the car as a “running” project with 108,000 miles and has lost interest in completing it.

Everything is the way it was when he bought it except for having it repainted several years ago in factory black with gold metallic mixed in. The body appears solid and there are no cracks or scratches evident. Only a few paint imperfections are noted on the ‘nose’ and hood. Difficult to see.
During the current ownership of the car, it has been garage kept, but the prior history is unknown.
Electrically, the headlights and taillights function, but no brake lights, turn signals, or courtesy lights. The windows and wipers work.
The interior is original. The speedometer/odometer function as well as the fuel gauge, temperature, and voltmeter. The tachometer, radio, and other gauges do not.
The Corvette starts, runs, charges, and drives okay, but the car should be gone through before taking on a long trip.
There are no extra parts. So, the center caps, spare tire, antenna, and any parts missing are not included.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the Internet without them leaving the garage.
