Rare single-family owned since new, 1976 Volkswagen Bus. Total miles driven are 135,000. It has always been garage kept and is solid throughout as you can see in the photos.

The Bus retains its original yellow and white two-tone paint. The white was recently repainted within the past 6 months. The yellow was redone at an earlier date, which is not known. You can see that the floors and rocker panels are very solid. Also, in the engine area, there is no rust or rot around the compartment. Side door slides and locks without any problems. All the doors and hatch compartments open and close as new.
The 2.0 liter ‘flat motor’ starts and runs great. It appears a new exhaust system was installed. The transmission shifts without any issues too.
The interior is 100% original and has never been reupholstered. There appear to be no tears, rips, or popped seams. The headliner is also original.
Mechanically, the VW Bus runs and drives great. New brakes and hardware were installed in the past 6 months as well as a tune up. Electrically, all the exterior lights and turn signals function normally. The front turn signal lenses show some cracking. The speedo and fuel gauge function normally.
Maintenance records did not accompany the Bus, so any other repairs performed are not known.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
