In 2004 (at approximately 55,000 miles) this Mercedes had a new 2-stage urethane paint job, new weather stripping throughout, a new interior including foam for the seats and an added jump seat. All the carpeting was replaced, and a new top was added.
As recently as 2023 the car was gone through again and detailed with new front and rear springs, brakes, exhaust system, shocks, and suspension bushings.
The engine and transmission have never been removed from the car or taken apart, but according to the records, regular maintenance was performed.
It is a well-maintained and detailed 450SL which comes with complete service records. Both the hard and soft top are in excellent condition and a cart is included for the hardtop. All the electronics function including the A/C, power antenna, radio, and clock. It starts easily and runs great. No disappointments.
