• Power comes from a new 350 cu. in. Chevrolet small block from The Hot Rod Company boasting 450 horsepower and 425 #ft of torque. The build included aluminum heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless steel valves, custom hydraulic roller cam with roller rockers, Holley carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, ceramic coated headers with a 2 ½” exhaust system, and HEI ignition. Also an aluminum serpentine pulley system with a Vintage Air A/C unit was installed. Keeping everything cool is a custom 5 row aluminum radiator.
• The transmission is a new Turbo 400 from Performance Automotive using a deep pan, shift kit, and 2800 – 3200 rpm stall converter.
• The suspension was rebuilt with a new 4-wheel power disc brake system, shocks, and bushings. Rear differential was rebuilt with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears.
• The interior is stock and uses factory gauges and A/C & heat controls. All gauges function normally except for the tachometer and clock. Seats, door panels, and carpet appear original.
• The white top is in excellent condition without any tears or broken seams. The plastic rear window is clear.
• The Hot Rod red color is original to the car, but a wrap was used instead of repainting the car. It is approximately 18 months old and looks great. There is no evidence of bubbling on the finish, very smooth. With the wrap there is little chance of stone chips and no waxing is ever required. The only noticeable area is on the nose where the facia had been split prior to the wrap being applied, (see photos).
• In the video you might notice that the right-hand side headlight door did not close. But it does. It just takes a few seconds longer.
• The Corvette performs very strong and drives easily. Owner is selling for personal reasons.
