The original factory color was Medium-Blue (922) with the black interior (404). This car was repainted in its current torch red before it was purchased in the 1980’s! The paint looks very good for its age and shows no cracking or chips except for the front facia. The body is straight and does not appear to have been in any accidents.
It is not known if the 350 V-8 was rebuilt before it was installed except for the addition of the Edelbrock Carburetor and intake manifold which was done later. It still has a ‘points type’ of ignition and was recently tuned-up. The exhaust system sounds good without any leaks. It starts easily and runs smoothly.
The interior appears to be original and in very good condition. A few seams are stretched, but no tears in the vinyl are evident. An aftermarket radio was added, and the original unit is included. All the factory gauges function except the clock. It should be noted that this C3 also came with A/C, but none of the parts for the system are included.
Besides the tune-up recent work includes new B.F. Goodrich tires (225/70R/15), fuel pump, fuel lines, K member leak repaired, Interstate battery, and all the fluids topped off.
All exterior and interior light’s function, as well as the wipers. This includes courtesy lights, turn signals, and brake lights. Headlight doors operate slowly. The driver’s side needs some help opening (see video).
The frame and suspension appear solid. It is not known what work was performed during ownership.
Overall, this 1973 Corvette is an excellent driver and shows well. Selling for personal reasons.
