1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 4-speed, numbers matching and only 31,000 original miles!! This Z-28 is fully documented from the day the original buyer ordered the car when he was a senior in high school in February 1973 from J.E. Engels Chevrolet in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, until it was delivered in April the same year.

The engine is the #’s matching 350 c.i. Chevrolet V-8 backed by an M-21 close ratio Muncie 4-speed transmission and 10-bolt rear differential with 3.73:1 posi-traction gears.
Just over a year ago the current owner had the exterior of the car repainted the original metallic silver, but in a 2-stage urethane because of age and shine.
There is no rust, bondo, or replacement panels anywhere in the car. The vinyl top is perfect and shows no bubbling.
TAll exterior chrome is original the rear bumper has 2 small pits and a little hazing, but otherwise looks excellent.
The immaculate interior is 99% original. Only a small section of the driver’s seat needed to be replaced due to a tear. There is even a cigarette burn on the console from the original owner. All the factory gauges function normally and even the AM/8-track player works!!!
One of the weak points of these Z-28’s were the valve springs, so the prior owner had the original engine rebuilt in 2015. This included the addition of a Comp Cams hydraulic flat tappet cam with gross lift of .462 intake and .469 exhaust. The internal reciprocating assembly was balanced, and the engine was dyno tuned and puts out 294 h.p. and 303 lb/ft of torque. Again, complete documentation is included.
While the engine was out a new clutch pack assembly was added.
The suspension bushings and springs are in very good condition. New shocks and a complete factory style exhaust were added within the past 2 years.
