1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible with its numbers matching 350 c.i. / 200 h.p. V-8 backed by the original Turbo 400 transmission and 3.55:1 rear posi differential.

Owner purchased the car a year and a half ago and did not come with much in the way of history. From the trim tag apparently, the car was originally “War Bonnet Yellow” with a black interior and top. As you can see the color is now Red and the new top is white. Included is the removable hardtop which is also painted the matching Red. It is not known if the top is an original GM item. Exterior chrome and stainless are in excellent condition.
Interior appears to be original and shows some wear with stitching separating behind the top of the driver’s seat. Carpet is in good condition.
Mechanically and electrically the car runs great and it is believed the engine and transmission were rebuilt at some point. No apparent leaks or burning of oil.
The odometer stopped working at 104,000 miles and the owner estimates driving the car about 1500 miles since the purchase.
It came factory with power brakes (disc front; drum rear) and NO power steering or A/C. The radio and all of the other factory gauges function normally.
The Vette rides on 225 x 50R x 17 Milestar tires and REV 5-spoke wheels.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
