The current owner bought it from the original owner in the early 1990’s when it had just over 34,000 miles. It appears to have always been garage kept and for the past 30+ years never driven in poor weather.

The exact number of LTD convertibles made in 1971 is approximately 5,700, but even fewer were built with the optional 429 V-8.

Factory options include power steering & brakes, AM radio with 8 track (does not work), power windows (escutcheons are included) and no A/C. The prior owner added the AM/FM/CD remote player in the glovebox. Factory gauges, including the speedometer/odometer, work except the clock.

The interior is the original black vinyl and in excellent condition. No evidence of tears, rips, or repairs. Even the dash pad shows no cracking or sun damage. The carpets show fading from age and sun. All the power windows function as well as the top.

The exterior paint and chrome still looks good except for some ‘patina’ on the passenger door (see photo). All exterior lights and turn signals function. The power top works great (see video) and it may have been replaced at some point. The original boot with foam are included.

Routine maintenance was performed on the LTD including a new dual exhaust system, tune up, brakes, and shocks. Some receipts are included. The original hubcaps and wheels are not included.

Additional parts sold with the car include the original air cleaner, Holley carburetor, jack, chrome valve covers, weather stripping, and a car cover.

This classic cruiser starts easily, sounds awesome, and rides great.
