1971 Dodge Dart Swinger ‘Muscle Car’, Street Machine. This was originally a 6-cylinder sedan which now houses a 408 c.i. small block Mopar professionally built by Driveline Works of Melbourne, Florida (receipts are included) with a conservative horsepower estimate of over 400.

Below are listed the specifics, but here are some of the highlights. The engine is a 360 c.i. small block Mopar which has been bored and stroked to 408 c.i. It is backed by a 727 Torque Flight 3-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit and 2800 stall converter. All of this is fed to a 8.75” rear differential with 3.55:1 posi gears.

Upgrades to the Dart include Vintage Air A/C (not connected), 4-wheel power disc brakes, 15” wheels, and subframe connectors.

The paint and bodywork are approximately 2 years old, and it shows well for a street car. The ‘Bumble Bee’ stripe is painted on the car. New parts include taillight assemblies, and bumpers. Some of the imperfections have been photographed. Please feel free to ask questions.

The interior is original with the only tear in the rear seat. New parts include the stereo system, heater and core. The original speedometer/odometer function normally as well as the under-dash aftermarket gauges, but the tachometer, fuel, and dash lights do not. Car is currently wired for the fan to run all the time because of no manual switch and the battery needs to be disconnected when the car is not running.
