1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport Convertible painted a red “fire mist” metallic (original color was a Sierra Gold) with a GTO spoiler added. Power comes from the original 350 c.i. V-8, which is backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Original options include power brakes, power steering, and A/C (compressor and hardware not included). Present owner purchased the car 7 years ago, shortly after it had been painted.

The Le Mans is a “driver” and shows 141,000 actual miles. The paintwork is good for a streetcar, but there are areas of bubbling and bodywork showing (see photos). All external lights, including the turn signals, function normally, as well as the wipers. The glass is in good condition without any cracks or bubbling. Chrome bumpers are in good shape, with only a few scratches. The white convertible top shows its age but operates smoothly, has a clear rear window, and includes the factory black boot.
Mechanically, the Pontiac starts easily and handles great. An Edelbrock 4-barrel intake manifold with a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor was added, along with a dual exhaust system that uses Flowmaster mufflers. There is a slight exhaust manifold leak on the passenger side (see video).
The interior appears to be original and in good condition. Factory gauges and lights function normally, as well as the tachometer. The radio only plays ‘static’.
The stock Le Mans Sport suspension has not been changed, and the rear differential has 3.23:1 (open) gears.
Owner has driven the Pontiac approximately 7,000 miles attending shows, parades, and cruise-ins around the area.

Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
