1970 Chevrolet Pro Touring “Murder” Nova powered by a fuel injected 468 c.i. big block Chevrolet engine with an estimated horsepower of over 500. The motor is backed by an Art Carr prepared 700R4 automatic transmission and Currie 31-spline 9” Ford rear-end.

The build, which was completed approximately 15 years ago, is a Pro Touring street car similar to Shawn Ellington’s Nova which competes on the series “Street Outlaws”. Shawn gave his personal “approval” of the build by signing the glovebox at the 2019 PRI Show. In 2015 the engine was rebuilt to run on pump gas. Total mileage since engine rebuild is less than 3000.

The color on the car is a beautiful and unique 3-stage urethane in “Amazon Moss” green with gold metallic and pearl. You will probably not find another one like it.

Receipts for the engine and most of the other parts on the Nova are included. The car has always been garage kept and has never been in an accident.

  • All steel 1970 Chevrolet Nova which was stripped, media blasted and completed on a rotisserie.
  • Custom DuPont 3-Stage urethane with a base coat of black, then the “Amazon Moss” green with gold pearl metallic flakes, and finally a clear coat. Paint, bodywork, and custom fabrication, including the DSE mini-tub kit, was done by Divine One Customs, Henderson, NV, in 2008.
  • Rear inner fender wells were mini-tubbed.
