1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible Resto-Mod powered by a professionally built supercharged 496 c.i. Chevy Big Block putting out an estimated 850 h.p.!! The current owner & builder has owned the Malibu for 18 years and less than 2 years ago decided to freshen it up a little by adding a new engine, interior, top, and paint job. It is the true definition of “Show & Go”. The car has been driven less than 2500 miles since its rebuild, always garage kept, and was never raced or abused.

In the way of bodywork, the only original metal is the frame, trunk lid, cowl, and firewall.

New floors, front fenders, inner fenders, rear quarter panels, door skins, and hood were added. A complete photo album of the build accompanies the car as well as the receipts for the work and parts.

With regards to the new interior, the entire car was re-wired using a new harness. The fuel system was also upgraded with a fuel sump, Aero electric fuel pump and ½ braided lines which includes a return line to the tank.

The only ‘issue’ with the car is the speedometer/odometer gear needs to be replaced. Stopped working about 1000 miles ago.
