A four-year restoration was completed two years ago, and less than 500 miles have been logged on the GTX. This Mopar looks fantastic!!

The body started as a rust-free southern car and retains the original floors, rocker panels, hood, and trunk lid. The rear quarter panels, doors, front fenders, and cowl were replaced because of having too many dents. There was no rust.

The owner had the car stripped and repainted in the original color of F8 green using a 2-stage urethane but added a black vinyl top (instead of green) and black hood stripes. You can see how straight the body lines are in the photos and video. Additionally, the front windshield and rear back light were replaced. All side glass is original.

The interior appears to be original except for the two rear passenger door panels. The AM radio does not work, but there is a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth player in the glove box. There are no apparent broken seams, tears, or stains on the seats. The dashboard and pad are in excellent condition.

The original 440 HP engine and Torque Flight transmission were rebuilt to stock specifications. A Holley 650 cfm carburetor has replaced the original Carter unit which is included in the sale. The exhaust system, gas tank and fuel lines were replaced.

The front ‘K’ member was removed, and powder coated before a new factory reproduction suspension and brake system (11”) were installed. An updated parking brake was also added. The owner preferred the Plymouth Rally wheels and had them powder coated and added Firestone 14” 70 series bias ply tires for a more traditional look. Original 5 star wheels are not included.
